3A Unit5 Look at me

教学内容:story time

教学目标:

1. The students can listen, say, read and understand the pattern “Look at my new…”, and then they can praise the others in situations.

2. The students can use “Look at my new…” to show their things and praise the others in different situations.

3. The students can read and say the words T-shirt, skirt,cap,jacket.

教学重点:

1. The students can use “Look at my new…  ”to show their things and praise the others in situations.

2. The students can say the words about clothes such as T-shirt, skirt, cap, jacket.

教学难点:

The students can use “Look at my new…  ”to show their things and praise the others in situations.

教学准备:挂图、卡片、PPT、头饰等。

教学构想:

1.课堂中教师要创设真实,轻松,自然的情境,让学生在真实情境中想说,乐说,会说,激发和保护学生学习英语的兴趣和热情,培养学生运用所学英语进行交际的意识和勇气。

2.本单元对话中出现很多衣物类单词,引导学生勇于尝试,敢于表达,熟练掌握“展示-赞美-感谢”的三部曲。通过本单元的学习学生要能够学会如何用英语赞美和表扬他人。

教学过程:

Step1. Warming-up

1.Greetings:

T: Class begins. Good morning, class.

S: Good morning, Miss Zhou.

2.Challenge myself (两项)

3.Show the title“Look at me!”(随机点名,点到的人起立并且操练句型“Look at me. I’m…”)

T: Look at me, I’m Miss Zhou.

T: At the beginning, let’s play a game. I will call the roll. If it’s you, please stand up and say“Look at me. I’m…”

T: OK, game is over. I know you’re all excellent. Today we’ll learn Unit5 Look at me!   (出示课题和板书)

Step2. Presentation                  

1.Learn and read the new words about clothes.

T: Look!What’s this?                 

S: A T-shirt.

T: Good. What else clothes can you say?                     

S: Skirt, dress, jacket, sweater and so on.

T: Great. Look, Try to read them. (此处教授skirt, cap, jacket的读音。重点强调四会单词cap的发音,可借助自然拼读法来演示,加上一个小游戏开发学生的思维。即:让学生思考如何在cap这个单词中换掉一个字母使其变身为新的单词)    

注意:教授单词的过程中随机抽人朗读或开火车读。          

Now, let’s play a game: Quick response.

When you see the flashing words, please say it quickly.

2.Two tasks

T: Look at Yang Ling. She will go to a fashion show. Do you want to take part in the show with Yang Ling?

S: Yes.

T: OK, before you get the tickets, you must finish two tasks.

Task 1: Watch and tick

T: Let’s watch the cartoon and tick the clothes Yang Ling tries on.

Watch the cartoon》                     

T: What clothes are Yang Ling trying on?                    

S: T-shirt, skirt and cap.

T: Great.                     

加:(T: Yang Ling looks nice. She is so happy. So what does Yang Ling say?  S: Look at my…                

T: Does Mum like the clothes?                  

S: Yes.)

T:How does Mum praise Yang Ling’s clothes? Let’s watch the cartoon again and underline these sentences.       

T: How to praise Yang Ling’s T-shirt /skirt /cap/ Yang Ling ?                     

S: It’s nice. / How nice! / It’s great. / Great!

(学生在说句子时,教师进行教授带读,并配以手势)

T: How do we give praise? 如何赞扬?

当我们想要赞扬和夸奖时,可以说“Great”, “How nice!”等!(此处稍微提及一下别的赞美类的句子,仅作了解。)

Step3. Practice

1.Fill in the blanks.  (此处为第三次播放视频)  

2.T:Now it’s time to read. You can read together, read in roles or read by one.

Step4. Consolidation

1.T: Let’s be a good actor.

2.学生四人一组进行服装秀。(时间紧张,放到第二课时进行。)

Step5. Summary

(总结好上课内容之后可适当进行情感提升。主要两点:1. Praising brings happiness. 2. Many people live in great poverty. They don’t have nice clothes. So we should help those in need and poverty. )

Step6 Homework

1. Read after the recording twice.

2. Try to praise your friends’ clothes.
