教学内容: Unit4 Hobbies(Story time)
教学目标:
1. 能正确听、说、读、写单词“dance、read、draw、sing、play、swim”和句型“I/We/They like...ing.” “ He/She likes...ing.”
2.熟练掌握学到的新单词dance、read、draw、sing、play、swim。
3.能熟练运用句型”I/We/You/They like...ing.” “He/She likes...ing.”来表达自己和他人的爱好。
4. 将英语和日常生活紧密联系起来,让学生热爱说英语,热爱交流。
教学难点:
1 .学生能理解序数词first、second、third的意思和用法(序数词前面要加单词the)
2.学生能够学习和掌握句型“I/We/You/They like...ing.”“He/She likes...ing.”的用法。

教学设想:
本单元围绕的主要话题是:《Hobbies》。单元的story time中,主要通过Mike谈论自己和朋友们的爱好,从而引入本单元的新词“dance、draw、play the piano、read、sing、watch films”,在对新单词的学习上,通过多种让学生感兴趣的方式达到记忆的效果。本课的重点句型有“I/We/You/They like...” “He/She likes...”,并在交际活动和写作活动中学会运用。
教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
1) Greetings and Free talk
T: I’m your English teacher . Do you want to know more about me?
2) Guessing game
T: Can you try to guess how old I am? / What do I like doing?
学生活动:组织语言猜老师的年龄和爱好。引导学生说出You like...ing.
3) Lead in
T: Singing is my hobby. I have many hobbies. Read after me: hobby hobbies. (引出课题“Hobbies”) Hobby means something you like doing.
4) Brainstorm
T: Now let’s talk about hobbies. Do you know any hobbies started with s/p/r/w/d?
学生活动:头脑风暴,说出开头为s/p/r/w/d爱好的单词。
5) Talk about your hobbies
T: So we know a lot of hobbies. What do you like doing?
学生活动:组织语言用I like...ing.说说自己的爱好。
6) Pair work: try to ask his/her hobbies
T: I know your hobbies. But do you know about your friends’ hobbies? This time, let’s do pair work like this(作左右状), try to ask your friends what do they like doing.
学生活动:同桌合作,自己用“What do you like doing?”问一问同桌,并用“I like...ing.”说说自己的爱好。
T: Now please introduce your hobbies and your deskmates’ hobbies to us. When you introduce, use “I like...ing.” and “He/ She/ XXX...likes...ing.”
学生活动:用“I like...ing.”和“He/ She/ XXX...likes...ing.”介绍自己的爱好以及同桌的爱好。
T:Just now I told you singing is my hobby, and I have another hobby. But you need to learn the story first, If you know the answer, I have a big surprise for you! Let’s go and find the answer!
Step 2 Presentation
1. Look and say/ Mike’s hobbies
T:Look at the picture. Oh, we know this is Mike. Can you say something about Mike?
T: Look, can he play basketball well? Can he play football well? Now let’s listen to Mike’s hobbies. (教读draw发音)
T:What does it mean “ be good at” ? Look at the pictures. He can play basketball well, he can’t play football well, what else can we say?
T: Look at the two sentences, which one is better?
T:Can you say something about Mike’s hobbies?
学生活动:复述Mike的爱好。
T:PPT呈现老师的爱好线索一:I like it. Mike likes it too.
2. Look and say/ Liu Tao’s hobbies
T: Now look at the two pictures. Can you talk about them?
T: Look at the two pictures. what does Liu Tao like doing?
T:Now read Liu Tao’s hobbies by yourselves, and find the sentence with the same meaning with “ He likes playing table tennis too.”
T:解释also和too的意思和用法,并总结“表达注意点2——用词求变,切忌雷同”。
T:PPT呈现老师的爱好线索二:Liu Tao also likes it, but he is not good at it.
3. Listen and answer
T: Listen and answer: What are Yang Ling’s hobbies?
学生活动:听录音回答。
T: How much does Yang Ling like reading stories?
学生活动:寻读,找出能证明Yang Ling喜爱读故事的句子。
T: 总结“表达注意点3——展开联想,适当扩充”。
T:Now can you try to fill in one sentence to prove that Yang Ling likes playing the piano?
学生活动:学生运用刚才学会的“表达注意点3”。
4. Read and answer
T: Look at the paragraph, read and answer: Who is Su Hai? Who is Su Yang?
学生活动:细读文章内容,区别Su Yang和Su Hai.
T: Look at the sentences, which one is better?
学生活动:观察老师所给例子,体会“表达注意点4——按照顺序,层次分明。”
T:PPT呈现老师的爱好线索三:Su Hai and Su Yang both like it.

学生活动:用第三人称选择一个人物复述他/她的爱好。
7. Let’s think
T:What does Tim like doing? What do you know from their hobbies?
学生活动:根据文章意思,猜测课文中人物的隐藏信息。
T:PPT呈现老师的爱好线索四:刚刚得到的线索中有一句话全错,一句话全对,一句话一半对一半错。
Step 3 Consolidation
T: Try to talk about your hobbies and your friends’ hobbies. You may refer to the four tips.
学生活动:根据四个表达注意点,尝试着说说自己和朋友的爱好。
Step 4 Homework
1. Write down the hobbies you talked about.
2. Watch the video and learn how to write better.
