Unit 4 Seeing the doctor

教学内容: 5B Unit 4 Seeing the doctor

教学目标:

 基础知识

1.能正确理解,掌握对话内容,并能朗读,表演对话。

2.能正确听说读写词组:see the doctor, have a rest, take some medicine, drink some warm water

3.初步掌握句型what’s wrong with you ? I have…… .

基本技能

1.在生活中能正确运用本课的重点句型

2.培养学生听说读写能力和交际能力。

综合素质

通过情景的设置和对话表演,激发学生在生活中乐于使用英语的兴趣。

教学重点:

1.能正确理解,掌握对话内容,并能朗读,表演对话。

2.掌握词组:see the doctor, have a rest, take some medicine, drink some warm water和句型What’s wrong with you? I have…What should I do? You should.

3.培养学生听说能力和交际能力。

教学难点:

What’s wrong with you? I have…. What should I do? You should….

教师可充分利用生活实际和文本帮助学生理解。

教学构想:

本单元谈论的是看病时的一些日常用语,文本内容围绕Su Hai和 Mike两个重点人物展开,通过医生与病人的对话展示了病人看病的过程。可以将文本的学习分为两个部分:第一部分,可以让老师带领学生学习Su Hai的看病过程。通过问题引领,帮助学生掌握文本细节,并让学生在生动的朗读表演中感悟语言。第二部分,可以让学生自主学习Mike 的看病过程。明确两个学习任务:自学生词并圈出来;朗读课文,找到问题的答案。可以让学生联系Su Hai的看病过程自主提出问题并解决问题,体现学生的学习主体地位。

第一课时

教学过程:

Step 2 Presentation 

1. Show two pictures of Su Hai and Mike.

 Lead in the title.

2. Watch the whole story and answer the following questions:

   What’s wrong with Mike?    He has a ... (Answer with ...have/has a ...)

should是情态动词,与can , would用法一致,后面跟动词原形。

第二课时

教学内容:Grammar time& Fun time

教学目标:

1 能够运用准确复述Story time中生病就诊的故事;

2 能理解并掌握运用Grammar time中人称代词宾格的用法和情态动词should的用法及规则;

3 能完成Fun time中的任务,与同学合作完成生病看医生表演。

教学重点:

1. 能通过交流,正确运用人称代词的主格与宾格以及should的肯定与否定形式。

2. 对Grammar time中情态动词should的学习与运用;

3.能够与同学合作完成Fun time中的拓展表演;

4. 能够运用所学知识提出更多的给予病人的建议

教学过程:

Step1 Revision

1、 Free talk.

3、Talk about the illness from different characters.

T: We learned seeing the doctors yesterday,do you know what’s wrong with these different people?

4、 Pair work: talk about problems one by one and ask for advice.

Step 2 Grammar time

One is the doctor, the other is the boy who is ill.

      Look, ask and answer about the notes on the cards

     A: what is wrong with you?

      B:I have a cough./toothache./ cold./headache.

Step 4 Fun time

     1、Talk about what you should do and what you shouldn’t do according to the information on the card

2、 Book open. Work in pairs.

e.g: A : What is wrong with you ?

B: I have a ….What should I do, doctor?

A: You shouldn’t eat ice cream.

  You should drink warm water.

  You should take some medicine.

Step 5 Thinking time

 1.Can you share your more advice when friends are ill?

Step 6 Sharing time

1 Share the advice in front of the whole class.

2. Design the information card according to different situations from the picture. Then write down the notes on the cards.

3. Summary.

1.Make a new dialogue between the doctor and you in the hospital

2.Finish the exercises on the book.

第三课时

教学内容:Sound time,Culture time ,Cartoon time&Checkout time

教学目标:

1. 学生知道字母“ch”的声音,并能用押韵读短文。

2. 学生知道摄氏和华氏的区别。

3. 学生可以理解和阅读卡通时间的单词和短语:伤害,应该,休息,点。

4. 学生能很好地理解卡通时间,并表现出来。

教学重难点:

1. 学生知道字母“ch”的声音,并能用押韵读短文。

2. 学生可以理解和阅读卡通时间的单词和短语:伤害,应该,休息,点。

3. 学生能很好地理解卡通时间,并表现出来。

4. 学生知道摄氏和华氏的区别。

T teaches students the meaning and how to read the three words: temperature, centigrade and Fahrenheit.

3、Let’ s follow:Read cartoon time with VCD in a hole.

(Imitate the pronunciation and the intonation.)

4、Show time:Act out the story in groups.
